The story follows four teenage girls from a Los Angeles parochial high school who pursue witchcraft for their own gain and then experience negative repercussions.
There are scenes of the Gothic witch Nancy that are impressive, like when she walks on water and hundreds of killer whales (orcas) appear dead on the beach. Neve Campbell was also an actress in the movies 'Scream.'.
By the year 2020, they had made a second movie to celebrate twenty years. It was named "The Craft: Legacy," but with different actors.
The Craft: Legacy is a soft sequel to the 1996 movie, but it was made by a different director.
